++Things that make me happy

Taking the lead from JennJR and AmyHCAlum, I'm going to post a list of the things that make me happy. Cuddling under the covers with D. I love this. Summer and winter. All the way to our chins, sometimes even our heads! Hugging. I'm a hugger too but my hugs inlcude the two cheek peck too. It's a cultural thing that I can't seem to lose. If anything, it's become more prominant over the years. Chili. For some reason, a bowl of chili any time of the year makes me really, really happy. Just typing that has given me cravings. Books. My life's passion. I love a good book. Especially an old book or one from a used book store. I love the feeling of the paper, the turning of the page, the smell of them and the idea that someone else read those same words before me. I love it all. Spending time with my family. I love this. Even if it's just spending time together in the same room but doing something different. Having them there is very comforting and makes me feel safe. Listening to music (and occasionally singing along). WOOHOO! It's like having a party all by yourself! A good wine. Preferably white or rose. Fresh figs. Another cultural thing. I've been eating so many lately but I still can't get enough. YUM. It's by no means a complete list but it's what I can come up with for now! What makes you happy?

for me, it's pink floyd's comfortably numb. not exactly a happy song (or a danceable one for that matter) but it just gets me all giddy and stuff.
