++Vanishing BC

I was watching a movie yesterday and Dan were wondering if our one-day-to-be (hopefully) back yard would look like the one in the movie and he said "Only if we could buy a house in Spuzzum, BC." "I thought Spuzzum had burned down?" said I. Yes. The town of Spuzzum is pretty much gone. The whole town, which was pretty much one convenience/grocery/pub/r estaurant, burned down a few years ago. It was a tragic because as it was, the big joke was "Don't blink when you drive through Spuzzum because you'll miss it!" but after that fire, that was pretty much it for the town. During my search for the picture above (this is an old sketch of the shop), I came accross this site of vanishing places in BC. Sort of interesting and kind of sad too.
